How do I get started to arrange a phone consultation?

​

First, contact me via email ( randogdavis@hotmail.com ) or give me a call so that we can determine if a phone consultation is a good option for you and your dog.  If it's a go, I'll let you know right away.

 

Next, fill out a PHONE CONSULTATION Intake Form (link here).  This questionnaire will help you get the most out of your session.  The completed form must be emailed back to me (as an attachment) before we can schedule a phone consultation.

Finally, we will set up a time and day for the Consultation.  It's that simple.

What can I expect from a phone consultation?

​

The main person(s) in charge of the dog's care should be present for the entire phone consultation.  During the session, we will provide:

​

• Answers to your specific questions regarding your dog’s behavioral issues.

Step by step instruction on how to change your habits so that your dog can begin to change his.

 

• Guidance and insight into the mind of a dog, including how dogs think, perceive, and learn.

​

• Discussion of the importance of leadership, training, exercise, and nutrition in the health and well-being of your dog.

​

• Identification of common human practices that can lead to canine behavior problems.

How long does an average phone consultation last?

​

Initial phone consultations typically run about 45 minutes in length, depending on the nature of the dog’s problems and your current skill level. 

​

You may choose to provide videos of your dog’s problem behavior(s).  This will greatly assist in the assessment process.  Your videos can be uploaded to sites like Youtube, Vimeo, or Dropbox.  The link to the video can then be sent to randogdavis@hotmail.com for review.  Double-check that the video link(s) and privacy settings of your video are correct so that your footage can be viewed.

What are the costs of a Phone Consultation(s)?

​

For the initial Phone Consultation, rates are $50 for the first 30 minutes (30 minute minimum) and $20 for each additional 15 minute segment (after the initial 30 minutes).  For follow-up Phone Consultations, the rate is $20 for each 15 minute segment (15 minute minimum).  

​

The actual runtime of any video footage that you provide will be added to the total phone consultation time.  The same rates apply for consultations via Skype.  All phone consultation payments can be made using the Paypal button at the bottom of the page.  

​

If it is determined that a phone consultation is a good choice for your situation, you will be emailed a phone number to use for the appointment.  Or, if you prefer Skype, a Skype address will be sent to you before your appointment.  You will be responsible for making the phone call / Skype connection at your scheduled appointment time.

 

Cancellations 

​

Please Note: If you miss your scheduled appointment time for your initial phone consultation, there will be a cancellation fee of $50.  Kindly give us a minimum of 24 hours notice if you must cancel your appointment time in order to avoid the cancellation fee.  Thank you.
